A phone that takes several seconds to open an app, freezes while you are typing, or stops responding completely can quickly become frustrating. Sometimes the cause is simple, such as low storage or an app that is misbehaving. In other cases, an outdated system, overheating, or a more serious hardware problem may be responsible.

Restart the phone first
